Meet Zoe
As an avid believer in information being power, Zoe cares deeply about providing education that resonates with the receiver in a way that they can enjoy and relate to. Her passion for education started with becoming a high school teacher, but it wasn’t until she had children herself that she really found her calling as a midwife.
Providing care and advice at the most important time of someone’s life became not just an honour, but an opportunity to help a family empower themselves through knowledge and understanding. Since then, Zoe has guided and supported hundreds of women and families through their pregnancy, birth and breast or bottle feeding journeys.
With over 12 years of midwifery experience and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) qualification, as well as Midwifery Educator expertise, Zoe has a wealth of knowledge and up-to-date evidence underpinning her generous and caring nature. Zoe has spent the last 8 years working in the Byron Midwifery Group Practice which has allowed her to celebrate the physiology and power of the human body and the importance of continuity of care and connection with community.
Zoe’s approach is calm and connected, as she takes the time to understand each client and their unique situation. Zoe provides expert guidance without overwhelming or pressuring, and ensures she leaves you happier, more confident and more relaxed than before. She’s like your own personal cheerleader… without the pom poms.
Having grown up in beautiful Brunswick Heads, Zoe values living and working in the community she was raised in. In her spare time, you might find Zoe outdoors in the garden, walking the New Brighton Beach or basking in the sun by the Brunswick River with her husband and two (now quite grown up) sons.
